On Odin’s Bed

On Odin’s Bed

A cold on top of my broken finger did not improve my creativity, but now that I am on the mend from one thing at least I dove back into We Love Role-Play to show my favourite decor item for this round, the Hvild bed from Libertine. This Norse-inspired bed (its even called “Odin’s bed”)  features carved wood (three design options are included for the head board) and furs for a very rustic look. It is called a beta release and will come with further texture options in the future through free updates. It is available in an adult and a mature version, with a good selection of single and couple animations. You can grab it at 30% off at the event.

For these photos, I wanted some very particular poses, so I did not use the built-in options. The body chains are from Starlight Design and in the first image they enhance the impression of submission. And yet, you can see a hint of the dagger from Kore that is held behind her back, which is then fully on display in the second image.  Chained, but not tamed and definitely still dangerous.

The torches are from a great set of light sources by Tirrany Designs and they provided lovely illumination for the scene. Finally, though not from WLRP, we have the Bora Nera hair from Wasabi. A very sleek style with attitude, with its hint of devil horns in the bangs.

The Phoenix Fae

The Phoenix Fae

A peek into the deep woods, where strange things grow and all manner of curious creatures make their home. Lithe and beautiful, appearing as if garbed in living flame, the phoenix fae is elusive and mischievous. You may be tempted to follow her deeper into the woods, but proceed with caution. Not all is as it seems, and most certainly do not eat the glowing mushrooms.

The Phoenix Corset is a cool design by Starlight Designs, featuring animated flames that seem to envelop your body. Looks particularly fabulous in the dark! And that is of course also true for the Faelight Fungi by Birth, a set which includes different mushroom clusters, some strange glowing flowers and one huge mushroom with little frogs on. It really does look like bioluminiscence. You’ll find the corset and the mushrooms at the current round of We Love Role-Play.

Also from We Love Role-Play is the latest ear release from Illusions, the Elfin Ears, long and slender and very fae. My skin is one of the new tones for alaskametro’s Esme skin, released at the Skin Fair, and I am using it with the 2025 body update.
