Fantasy Faire may be leaving us tomorrow, but We Love Role-Play‘s May round is in full swing and since this is the birthday round it includes special treasures for L$ 0 -10 for all group members. Don’t miss that! The lineup of new releases, as always at a discount, is also particularly strong this round so there is sure to be something for everyone.

I ventured out into the woods and created a magical corner with the Dreamlike Ruins from sleep and the Veilspire Chaise from Roped Passions. With the right sort of pose, I was able to wear the rather minimal Cloth from Fluffy Kreations without revealing too much! It comes in three different styles and two sizes for each style, plus several different body rigs. Finally, I wore the beautiful Assa forehead jewellery from AngelicUs. I really like the design of this piece.

Fantasy Faire 2026: Magical Meetings

The official program for Fantasy Faire 2026 ends today, May 10th, but the Fairelands have recieved an extension and will not fade away until the end of Wednesday, May 13th. That said, I am not sure how much more blogging time I will have, so this post may be my farewell to the Fairelands for this year, with a final magical meeting on the quest sim of Kallissya. And yes, if you have yet to finish the Quest, it will also be available until the end of the 13th, so don’t miss the chance.

The beautiful coat on my Teeglepet Arabian is one of many quest gifts, this one by the Cozy Den. It comes in several shades and includes both PBR and non-PBR versions. I love how the palest shade looks here, almost ghostly, which makes it a fine fit with the second of Teegle’s two new pets for the Faire: Osaka, the spirit wolf, here beautifully adorned by the flowery drapes from Mythril. They really do look like two magical creatures in a magical realm, and I am just lucky to be along for the ride. And speaking of riding, Osaka is of course ridable as well as useable as a companion.

Fantasy Faire 2026: Meet Moria

Sailing to the Faire took longer than I would have liked, but now I have finally had time to give the stunning sims of the 18th Fantasy Faire a good look, I have done a bit of shopping and I’ve taken Moria the Direwolf, one of two new Teeglepets, for a ride around Ülim’Hyl, the sim sponsored by En Pointe and Teegle. 

Fantasy Faire is, as always, one of the main events in Second Life raising money for the American Cancer Society through RFL - the Relay for Life. During the Fantasy Faire, you can shop new exclusive releases where the sale proceeds go to RFL as well as participate in a huge number of events that raise funds in various ways.

This year, Teegle has released two new Teeglepets, Moria the Direwolf and Osaka the Spirit Wolf. In addition to these beauties, there are tack sets for the wolves and stunning PBR-enabled wolf coats. You can also find a selection of previous releases at 10% off.

In the video you can also see my new outfit from the Muses as well as face tattoos and a staff from Auro. These are all new Faire releases and while the hair isn’t new, it is by Faire-participant Analog Dog.

Beautiful Mirage

A beautiful pavilion is set in the middle of an oasis. Open from all sides, it takes in the light of the desert sunset and is also illuminated by bronze lanterns. Within, a woman dances, her garb embroidered with metallic thread that catches the light of the sun and the lanterns.

Lore’s Mirage pavilion and its matching lanterns are gorgeously textured to take advantage of PBR, with both stone and metal looking strikingly realistic. There is also an enclosed version of the pavilion, which could be furnished and serve as a more private meeting place, perhaps in a palace garden.

The exquisite Desert Wind Dancer outfit by Web Dew offers several choices of base fabric and then the ability to tint these. This patterned silk stod out for me, as it really makes excellent use of PBR to let the pattern shimmer in the light.
