The snow blankets the landscape and all is quiet around the rustic, red-painted houses. A strange place to find a proper lady, but to see the northern lights, one has to venture outside of one’s comfort zone.

The beautiful winter day dress from Grasshopper Street, with its matching collarette and muff, really needed some lovely snowy surroundings, so I reused my setup of Fanatik’s Rorbuer buildings. These are traditional Norwegian fishing village houses and they look so lovely in this landscape and with an environment setting that suggests a cold winter evening and northern lights.

Birdie Girl

I am in a cage again, but this time its a fanciful gigantic birdcage bed from DICTATORSHOP with soft pillows and place for you and a partner. Perhaps it isn’t quite the season for placing it outdoors, but I went all in on the cool and frosty look with both the birdcage and my own silvery outfit from the Muses.

The birdcage bed has an all-new animation engine which includes exclusive custom animations, and automatic Physics Cock and V Bento support. It comes in PG, Adult Vanilla and Adult Kink versions and includes the ability to rezz a swing within the cage with additional animations. You can also open and close the doors to the cage and of course change textures on both metal and fabrics.

The Sacred Fire of Vesta

On the first day of the new year, the sacred fire still burns in the temple of Vesta before a statue of the goddess herself, the smoke rising up through the central roof opening.

This beautiful recreation by Del-ka Aedilis looks stunning in the winter landscape, its white marble as pale as the snow. The elegant Corinthian columns circle the building and the ornate front portal in bronze shows various scenes with Vestal motifs.

Frost Queen

Finally we have a proper chill in the air here, just in time for the New Year. It put me in a mood for something frosty and a mixed up a few different releases from Petrichor to achieve a cold-eyed sorceress wandering the wintry woods, including the very cool Vaera eyes that have nifty animation effects and tons of looks to choose from. The Apres Ski hair from the Truth Collective (a Truth & Wasabi collaboration) is one of those great long and straight style that always work well in a fantasy look, though I did opt for not wearing the knitted hat, it would not have fit the image!
