Fantasy Faire 2026: Enchantress of the Junction

Fantasy Faire 2026: Enchantress of the Junction

The heart of the Fairelands is always the Fairelands Junction. This year, as so many other years, it is Saiyge Lotus of Balderdash who has built this realm and she always imbues it with a special kind of magic that is rooted in the organic and often expressed through fantastical trees and flowers.

I thought it was very fitting to visit the Junction wearing the leaf-adorned Idunn gown by Faunus, which almost transforms the wearar into a flower. The floating sparkles that are an optional add-on also fit very well in with the look of the Junction. To the gown I added a tiara and earrings by Schelm, as well as a staff by Schelm, and I selected the Lily hair from Raven Bell for its sparkling star add-ons.

I also picked up an animated stand from Quills & Curiosities that is supposed to be for magic users (there’s three different sets, all with some very nice animations) and combined this with a pose for the staff in the first image and used just the animated stand in the close up. It felt very natural.

Fantasy Faire 2022 is Here

Fantasy Faire 2022 is Here

The best time of the year for lovers of all things fantasy in Second Life is here, Fantasy Faire 2022 has opened. From now until May 8th you have 20 fabulous Fairelands to explore, filled with both shopping and all kinds of entertainment. The best way to experience the Faire is to wander through all of the regions, but if time and/or lag makes that hard, there is a list of all participating stores with slurls to their booths. There’s also a

Shopping Guide which links through to galleries on Facebook where all of the RFL items are represented. Because as always, the Faire is raising money for the American Cancer Society through the Relay for Life.

I’ve battled a bit of a cold to pay a quick visit to most of the sims and put together a bit of a teaser video. There’ll be more in-depth posts and hopefully more videos in the days to come, once I regain a bit of energy. You’ll find photos of the two outfits shown in the video below as well as credits for those.
