“Come with me”, she said as she turned away to walk back down the dim hallway she had come from, bearing a heavy candelabra in one hand and a rolled-up letter in the other. “You will want to read this.”

Welcome to the June round of We Love Role-Play, where scantily clad maids bearing secret messages is only of many possbilities!

The cute and cheeky top and skirt are by the Muses and I love the Wine colour shown here but it also comes in several other gorgeous colours. The ties on the side are such a perfect detail, very sexy.

The candelabra is by Nocturna Deed and includes a wide range of metal textures, some smooth and new, some tarnished. The letter is from Opifex and it includes a male and a female version with two animations each as well as a texture HUD for changing the colours or making the scroll look dirty or bloody. Finally, the banners are by Tirrany Designs. They include standing and hung versions and different background colours.

Defender of the Cauldron

At the center of the maze of stone, the cauldron waited for those who dared to seek it—and in doing so, challenge its final guardian.

The Bellatrix outfit by Fame combines plate armor with elegant detailing in a way that feels ceremonial. The silvered armor is decorated with dark floral motifs and subtle engraving, softened by the long patterned skirt beneath it. I especially liked the contrast between the polished metal and the darker textile elements, which keeps the outfit from feeling overly pristine. It suggests a knightly order with traditions, symbols, and history behind it.

The setting is built using the Estorian Walls kit by Bykee, which as you can see look fabulous with light spilling over the stone from both the torches and the cauldron itself. The wall kit is available in several different materials, this being the “Arenite” version. As for the cauldron by Nocturna Deed, it bubbles green and eerie and occasionally there is a crackle from the fire which throws more light across the room, as you can see captured in the first image.

Some gods are difficult to appease…

I felt it was time for something truly fantastical and for that I combined some of the most striking fantasy pieces from We Love Role-Play with a DungeonCore release from DICTATORSHOP, for a dark and twisted scene.

The Veilspire Spell Desk by Roped Passions is turned into something more sinister by pairing it with the DungeonCore Bondage Cross and by placing it in the A Gothic Place build by Nocturna Deed. To complete the picture, I used the Acrimony Anubis tattoo on myself together with the fantastical set of mask, headdress and neckpiece from Pendulum. The barely-there dress by Aitne also looks like it would suit a dark priestess very well.

The Watchtower

Every year, she visits the isolated watchtower and looks out over the ocean. And every year, she leaves in silence and goes back to her life.

We Love Role-Play for October is in full swing and this round mixes in plenty of Halloween-inspired releases. But for this post, I stayed within the classic fantasy realm, using the imposing tower from Nocturna Deed to set the stage. Inside, I decorated with pirate-inspired items from Laminak (there are more pieces to the set than is shown here) and for my outfit I selected the beautiful gown from the Muses and the stunning silver choker from Sigma. The choker is fitted mesh and it really makes for a much better jewellery fit for necklaces, even if that of course limits which bodies you can use it on.

The hair is the Cider style from Wasabi, a high braid that can be worn over either shoulder and with or without bangs for maximum versatility.
