Winter Shelter

A quiet shelter deep in the winter woods lies abandoned save for a cloven-hoofed visitor, who seems to idly wait around for the usual occupant, a lone hunter, to return.

You still have to get your last Christmas gifts for yourself or someone else from We Love Role-Play. Why not the Hunter’s Rest shelter from Lore, a new release together with the Hunter’s Cot and the Supply Sled, which comes with or without firewood. Or, perhaps you would like to spend Christmas on four hooves thanks to the Goat Avatar from Jinx? It includes an AO and texture HUD with three eye options and two coats, including a sinister black one.

The beautifully sparkling trees are Fanatik’s latest release. These trees have subtly glowing lights and come in 10 sizes, from 3 to 15 meters tall. They really add a bit of magic to a winter woodland.

Winter Ritual

Welcome to December with We Love Role-Play. To get you into the Christmas spirit, the sim is beautifully decorated and each store has a special L$50 offer in addition to the usual discounts. 

Loa’s new Frost skin features subtle add-ons of frost on the eyebrows, a pale eyeliner and a pack of blushes. The skin is available in Loa’s usual tones as well as a range of Velour tones, including the celestia and fantasy ones. I opted for Loa’s own Porcelain tone here and paired it with Sublime’s Aurora gown which I gave a white bodice and a grey skirt for more tones of frost and winter. Constraint’s Winter Court Torc (one of the L$50 items) goes well with the off-the shoulder design and the Winter Fae Crown from the same brand is beautiful in Wasabi’s Mistle hair, a new release for Anthem.

Adding a mystical feel is Auro’s Snedronningen staff, with its sphere of ice and crystalline details. It goes well with the scene built by Harshlands’ Tree with Candles and their snowy Yule Rock Offering.

The surrounding forest comes from Fanatik’s newly updated PBR poplars and their matching snowy ferns, with the Oitavos rock clusters adding structure and interest to the ground.

Insula Aureliana

A mule waits on the outside the insulae, the early morning light slowly spreading across the street and waiting for the city to wake up.

Insula Aureliana is another entry in Del-ka Aedilis Rome Series. It is a thoughtful reconstruction of a multi-storey apartment house, the kind that once dominated the crowded quarters of Rome’s cities. It combines function and grace, with stucco walls washed in ochre tones, arched porticos at ground level, wooden balconies above. The mural work along the façade, inspired by surviving frescoes, lends the whole structure a sense of living antiquity. In the soft evening light of a PBR environment, the materials respond beautifully.

I have set it against the Roman streets by Fanatik and added some additional props from Del-kae Aedilis, such as the with devotional shrines and some amphorae. The mule is of course from Teegle.

A New Light

Fanatik has a new modern build out, in a minimalist style suited for a store or a gallery. They have also launched a sister brand called Lumina under which they sell light installations for a wide variety of scenarios. In this video, I show off the build and just a few examples of the lights, including the versatile HUD that allows you to customize them in great detail. I can see using these both where they should be seen, as actual light fixtures, or to light scenes and photos.

The video also showcases the latest release from Dutchie, the Exercise Mat. It follows on from the Yoga mat, offering a more intensive workout. It also has an option for a very intensive workout, if you get my meaning, as it comes in a Femdom version.  In total there are four versions: PG Solo Exercise Mat, PG Duo Exercise Mat, Femdom Trainer Mat and a combined Femdom Trainere & Exercise Mat.  There are 40 exercise animations and 50 Femdom animations, all of them looking as smooth and realistic as you have come to expect from Dutchie. For the Femdom versions,  compatability with a range of adult add-ons is included (the product website has detailed information). The mats themselves are elegantly designed, with texture options for the wood, the ends and the main mat.

For my outfit, I cheated a bit as I loved the look of the Lalaina swimsuit from Petrichor & Ersch, so I am pretending it is a fancy training outfit. ;) You will find it at the new round of Kinky. My hair was the new weekend release from Wasabi, a sleek and sexy style that falls a good bit down your back.
