A New Light

Fanatik has a new modern build out, in a minimalist style suited for a store or a gallery. They have also launched a sister brand called Lumina under which they sell light installations for a wide variety of scenarios. In this video, I show off the build and just a few examples of the lights, including the versatile HUD that allows you to customize them in great detail. I can see using these both where they should be seen, as actual light fixtures, or to light scenes and photos.

The video also showcases the latest release from Dutchie, the Exercise Mat. It follows on from the Yoga mat, offering a more intensive workout. It also has an option for a very intensive workout, if you get my meaning, as it comes in a Femdom version.  In total there are four versions: PG Solo Exercise Mat, PG Duo Exercise Mat, Femdom Trainer Mat and a combined Femdom Trainere & Exercise Mat.  There are 40 exercise animations and 50 Femdom animations, all of them looking as smooth and realistic as you have come to expect from Dutchie. For the Femdom versions,  compatability with a range of adult add-ons is included (the product website has detailed information). The mats themselves are elegantly designed, with texture options for the wood, the ends and the main mat.

For my outfit, I cheated a bit as I loved the look of the Lalaina swimsuit from Petrichor & Ersch, so I am pretending it is a fancy training outfit. ;) You will find it at the new round of Kinky. My hair was the new weekend release from Wasabi, a sleek and sexy style that falls a good bit down your back.

Tribal

For this round of WLRP, Lore invites you to take up residence in a cosy mud hut, perfect for your tribal hunter living a solitary life in the middle of nowhere. The set also includes a swamp lantern, which I could totally see reusing for Halloween, and a selection of pots with tribal decorations. The hut and the lantern come in PBR and regular texture versions; I am using the PBR options.

For a suitably tribal outfit, I selected a release from Petrichor & Ersch for this year’s Fantasy Faire called Karvani, here worn on the Legacy male body but it also includes sizes for several other male bodies. The texture options are extensive and a separate Hide & Show HUD allows you to customize which elements of the outfit are shown.

Pink Boudoir

The beautiful Swan Lake series from DICTATORSHOP is getting a bathroom addition, starting with among other things a lovely sink and a tall mirror. The sink comes in PG (63 animations) and Adult Vanilla (116 animations) and offers five wood colours and two gilding options.  The opulence of this series makes it the perfect way to create a luxurious personal space and the addition of PBR-capable mirrors gives an extra dimension to your rooms and your photos. I will note that, as it says in the information regarding the mirrors, these reflections have sacrificed some detail over clarity of textures. I think I would personally have preferred it the other way around, so I suggest demoing to see what you prefer yourself. And if you do not want to use PBR at all, legacy versions are also included.

Such opulent surroundings called for something extravagant to wear and I found it in this set from Petrichor and Ersch, featuring a lace bodice, puffy lace sleeves and stockings, all of it with gold ornaments to match the decor. And with the many texture and color options available, it was easy to find a lovely shade of dusty pink that worked very well with the whole setup. The icing on the cake is the short, flirty hairstyle from Wasabi, an unrigged style that offers two versions of the bangs plus mirrored versions.

Fantasy Faire 2025: Oh Deer

Apologies for the title. Fantasy Faire 2025 is here (and I have never been so late on my first post, but life is crazy and its in the middle of Easter) and of course that means fabulous new releases from Teegle as well as a gorgeous Fantasy Faire sim built by the team.

Fantasy Faire, now on its 17th year, is one of the main events in Second Life raising money for the American Cancer Society through RFL - the Relay for Life. During the Fantasy Faire, you can shop new exclusive releases where the sale proceeds go to RFL as well as participate in a huge number of events that raise funds in various ways.

You are getting a video to get a hint of what the Wraithwoods have to offer and a good look at one of the new creatures, the Whitetail Stag, as well as quick peeks at the other releases. So far Teegle has out three new creatures, three new tack sets and three RFL releases.

In the video you can also see my new outfit and my new horns, the former being by Petrichor & Ersch and the latter by just Petrichor. With its bones, leaves and berries, the Karvani set felt suited to the wilds of the Wraithwood and the Yuen horns took my avatar from human to something a little different. Both come with extensive customisation options both in terms of textures and hiding/showing parts of the design. You will find Petrichor, with a huge amount of new releases available, on the Mire of Whispers sim. Also on Mire of Whispers are Analog Dog and the Stream hair is a new release for the Faire.
